We've had our eyes on coming before it even opened their doors for business. It was definitely worth the wait, before leaving we already decided we would come back in the near future. We tried... - the happy hour menu (4pm-7pm) onion pakora and ragada pattice [each $3.99] - from the curry menu Malai Kofta(A delicious dish of fried balls of potato and paneer in a rich and creamy (choose from spicy level) gravy made with sweet onions and tomatoes). ) and lamb korma (lamb stew meat is cooked in a creamy coconut sauce, seasoned with toasted Indian spices and cooked to a melt-in-the-mouth perfection( you can choose your spicy level).) Each of the entrees came with a container of rice which made it easy to take leftover homes or for takeout. - for dessert jalebi (made from all-purpose flour, gram flour, and sugar syrup. The batter is poured into spirals or concentric circles in hot oil, fried until crisp, and then immersed in sugar syrup.) We sat outside at the picnic tables since we had brought the dogs with us. While we were inside ordering and looking at the menu, we spoke to the staff who were quite friendly and helpful when we needed anything. The interior of the restaurant was busy with constant line of people who came to sit to eat or grab their takeout orders. If it didn't come across the food was melt in your mouth delicious.

I would like to express that this place has authentic south Indian food although the place is small but you get an amazing taste of a South Indian food. Their service is great. The staff is really friendly, but they need to learn a little bit about their menu and what to suggest people. Some of the observations have been that they need to be a little quick on delivery of food their quantity size is normal. The ambience is pretty sweet and cute. It's not a very big restaurant so you can see like 1520 seating available there but definitely this is an authentic South Indian food. You can enjoy multiple different types of specialities there starting from breakfast, Tiffins items all the way to lunch Chat and more definitely visit this place and let us know how you find it

First time, excellent food. Had butter chicken, comes with rice. Also got garlic naan. Medium spice is actually quite spicy, so beware. Large portions and the naan was 4 slices. The price was around $20 with tip, but worth it. I will say the butter chicken was less sweet and more savory than i am used to, but that's not a criticism. Just a little different than what i would consider the norm.

The food was excellent, and the service was friendly and reasonably fast. We're definitely coming back! They had 5 different spice levels so you can get it just right. We loved our chicken saag and lamb curry, and their samosas were awesome. Definitely would recommend.

We hired Kushi to cater my medical training graduation function for 20-25 people and had guests from Indian, Indian-americans, and americans who had never eaten Indian food before, and everyone loved the food. The food was excellent. Every item was very tasty with very generous portions. Venkata and the restaurant were easy to work with and when they were out of one item substituted by giving us a more expensive item. The biggest hits were the chicken 65, karapadi gobi, and curry leaf chicken wing appetizers (I had never seen indian style chicken wings before). In the rest of dinner, the hits were navratan korma which had pineapple pieces and I had never seen before, chicken tikka masala, paneer, and gulab jamun. This was the best indian eating experience I have had in last 4 years living in Kansas City.

My soft opening dine-in lunch experience was good, with several operational kinks yet to be worked out. The chicken masala with rice and choice of spice level ($13.99) was served 14 minutes after I ordered at the kiosk. It was nicely sized with plenty of flavor and a good amount of premium chicken chunks. The medium spice level was just right for me. The staff were helpful and polite, while the dining area was clean and modern without background music. I also noticed a patio. The payment process and the menu boards needed work, they seemed unorganized, and they didn't open on time. The prices seemed reasonable for dinner. I also noticed reasonably priced takeout lunch options.
